Award Details

The Yanzi Cup Alberta Division is proud to recognize and reward musical excellence at every level. With a total prize pool exceeding $10,000 CAD, awards are presented across all age and skill categories—including solo, duet, and professional divisions.

In addition to cash prizes, participants benefit from free tickets to exclusive masterclasses and the Awards Concert. Special recognition is also given to outstanding teachers whose students achieve top honors.

This competition is not only a platform for performance—it's a celebration of dedication, creativity, and community in music.

Teacher Awards

Teachers of students who receive first place in each General or Professional group will be awarded $200 per group, up to a maximum of $400 per teacher across both divisions.

Additional Perks & Participation Benefits

All participants will receive one free audience ticket to the masterclass.

Participants wishing to attend a one-on-one masterclass may do so for an additional fee (details to be announced).

All participants will also receive one free ticket to the Awards Concert.
